Through my background and experience I know how to design an effective and visually appealing map.
I understand how important good illustrated map design is. It isn’t just about making something look pretty because to fulfil its purpose a map also needs to be usable. It should engage with its audience effectively no matter what it’s end purpose whether that’s for a tourist guide, visitor signage or for an editorial map.
Some people find maps difficult to navigate but my designs are approachable and visually appealing. The maps I create are charming, bright and colourful. They are ideal for marketing purposes because of their eye-catching design and perfect for end users because they are engaging and easy to use. An illustrated map designed by me will be an asset and is a wonderful alternative to an uninspiring Google map.
All the maps I design are well researched and rooted in cartographic reality with a huge attention to detail.
