Illustrated Cruise Map of Europe

Client: Journey Magazine

Hearst Content Agency commissioned me to design an illustrated cruise map of Europe for Princess Cruises’ Journey Magazine.

The requirements of the brief were that the illustrated cruise map:

• should show all Island Princess‘ ports of call during her 2020 season.
• the cruise map of Europe should feature port itinerary highlights. This was so the passengers could see the interesting places they could visit while on a cruise. 
• be visually engaging and easy to understand.
• be relatively geographically accurate.

The commission also included two smaller spot illustrations of a blue whale and the Big Ben clock tower. These spot illustrations were used amongst the text in the same article.
