Westminster Map

Client: House of Commons

I was commissioned by the House of Commons to design an illustrated Westminster map that could be used across a range of retail items and sold through the 4 Houses of Parliament gift shops.

The brief was to design an illustrated A2 Westminster map that would highlight the Houses of Parliament and some of the other key buildings around the Westminster area, along with other nearby iconic London landmarks. The design also needed to include the River Thames and other ‘London things’ like red buses and phone boxes as well as being visually appealing.

I designed the map using an eye catching a bright palette and also managed to include Larry, the number 10 cat.

The Westminster map illustration has been used across a range of products including travel cups, fridge magnets, confectionary , a tea towel and a 1000 piece jigsaw.
